After two years at the 2272 Worth Ln. Property, we will be moving to 610 E. Emma Ave. Exciting new things are happening!
Right after our Open House on Sunday, we started packing up! It was a little sad seeing everything come off the walls and be packed away. Posters and FLL table mats were taken off the wall and rolled up. Computer keyboards and mice were disconnected and packed away. We worked so hard to make this space feel like home, but we are hoping to make our new space feel like home too!
We got the keys to the new space Tuesday morning. We did a walk through of the space and started planning where all the cabinets, tables, and shelves would go. Even made a small trip that night with a truck bed full of lego drawers, FLL kits, and carefully boxed lego robots. The real moving started today! We made several trips between the two spaces with a trailer hooked to a van and several personal vehicles. It's handy that the two spaces are only about 5 minutes apart. All of the big items are in the new space, so we can get everything situated and organized.

We had lots of help from students. The building we are moving into also houses another local robotics team, FTC Team 7209 Tech Hog Robotics, and they happened to be meeting and came out to help us. Tech Hogs combined with our students helped to unload all the vehicles, build metal shelves, and put away all the totes. Thank you to the Durham Family, FTC Team 8373 Diva Force, and FTC Team 7209 Tech Hog Robotics for helping us move!
Update: The center is almost ready for our students! We have been painting and getting everything ready for classes to resume the week of April 21st.
