Open House 2025

We held our second Open House this year! We meet with quite a few new families about joining a FIRST Lego League (FLL) robotics team or a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team.

The center was open for anyone to drop in and check out our robotics teams and upcoming events. We had FLL students working on programming new missions as well as showing how to set up completed missions. They would set the completed mission up and let visitors press the go button. The FTC students had O-Destroyer set up for visitors to try to grab blocks and place them into low buckets. They also have their work-in-progress robot, Junior, on the side showing what changes they've made and asking for idea inputs on possible solutions.

We had 3D printers running off to the side printing little boats. Students and visitors thought it was fun to watch as it started to take shape, but the most popular table was the snack table! Cookies, lemonade, and Capri Suns were free for the taking.
