Al Roker At Crystal Bridges

On June 17th, a group of TEK Center students took a field trip up to Bentonville's Crystal Bridges! This event was organized by Crystal Bridges and was open to students from all over Arkansas to meet Al Roker and included a Q&A section as well as the opportunity for students to be the first group ever to see his upcoming PBS Kids® show Weather Hunters! Following this amazing opportunity, the students were then given a tour of Crystal Bridges to see a few pieces and have a discussion about how weather played a role in the art pieces. We are all so incredibly grateful to Al Roker and Crystal Bridges for putting this event on and letting us attend and learn, we look forward to our next trip!
